Perlita Cabanting Defiesta, 65, of Keaau, formerly of Kaunakakai, Molokai, died Dec. 19, 2015, at Castle Medical Center on Oahu. Born April 9, 1950, in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a retired Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. factory worker in Keaau and also worked at Funk Seeds International on Molokai as a cornfield machine operator.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Jan. 15 at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary in Honolulu for a 6:30 p.m. service. Friends may also call from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 19 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may call again at 8 a.m. Jan. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by husband, Virgilio Defiesta of Keaau; sons, Fernan (Kim) Caspillo of Kalihi, Oahu, Paul (Marilyn) Caspillo of Kaneohe, Oahu; daughter, Teresita (Howard) DeCosta of Heeia, Oahu; seven grandchildren; brothers, Juanito Cabanting of Molokai, Hermanio Cabanting of Las Vegas, Felipe Cabanting and Alvaro Cabanting, both of Lanai; sister, Pacita Corpuz of Narvacan, Philippines; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kit Robin Foyle, 63, of Kailua-Kona passed away Dec. 10, 2015, on Oahu. He was born in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Services will be held on the North Shore of Oahu. Friends may call Tracy Foyle at 990-2047 for service information.
He is survived by wife, Tracy Foyle; brothers, Brian and Bruce Foyle, both of California; son, Kyle Keola Foyle of North Shore, Oahu; daughter, Lani Puamana Foyle (Kawasaki) of Mililani, Oahu; one grandson.
