John Harris Jr.
John Keahi Harris Jr., 70, of Paauilo died Nov. 21, 2015, at home. Born in Kukaiau, he was a retired night auditor with Uncle Billy’s Kona Bay Hotel and worked previously at the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel And Bungalows as a night and income auditor, Bri’oni as an office manager, King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel as a supervisor accounts receivable, the Volcano House as a night manager and night auditor and took care of airport records at Hawaiian Hauling Services Ltd.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Jan. 8 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. The family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by sisters, Betty Raymond of Honolulu, Tedieth (Clarence) McColgan of Hilo; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Brianne Silva-Losalio
Brianne Pi’ilani Silva-Losalio, 25, of Captain Cook, died Nov. 21, 2015, at the Kona Community Hospital. Born July 10, 1990, in Kealakekua, she was a homemaker.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Pukaana Congregational Church for a 10 a.m. memorial service. The family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by sons, Lakai Losalio-Johnson, Nainoah Losalio-Johnson, both of Keauhou and Taven Losalio-Green of Kainaliu; father, Joel Silva of Las Vegas; mother, Julianne Losalio of Keei; maternal grandmother, Daisy Losalio of Kealia; brothers, Kelly Losalio of Kealia, Damien Silva of Hilo; sisters, Cheyenne Losalio and Nohelani Cordeiro, both of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Margaret Ahuna
Margaret Silva Ahuna, 94, of Honokaa died Dec. 9, 2015, at Hale Hoola Hamakua. Born in Kalopa, she was a homemaker, formerly employed at the Hamakua Country Club, member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Hamakua Country Club.
Friends may call at noon, Jan. 9 at the Hamakua Country Club in Honokaa for a celebration of her life.
She is survived by daughters, Naomi (Ted Toluba) Campbell of Washington, Joanne (Pabling Feliciano) Erlandson of Paauhau, Celeste (Cristito) Tiogangco of Hilo; sons, John (Stephanie) Ahuna III of Paauilo, Alvin Michael Ahuna of Honokaa; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rosalina Orita
Rosalina “Rose” Guillermo Orita, 77, of Kapaau died Dec. 24, 2015, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born May 15, 1938, in Waianae, Oahu, she was a retired nursery worker of Kohala Nursery, member of Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church, member of the Kohala Senior Citizens; and recipient of the Senior Citizen of the Year Award in 2009 and 2014.
Friends may call for a visitation from 8 to 9:15 a.m. Jan. 9 at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial will follow at Halawa Catholic Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.

Roque Virginio Solmerin, 76, of Hilo died Dec. 5, 2015, at the Hilo Medical Center.
Born in Waipahu, Oahu, he was a retired estimator with Society Contracting on Oahu and member of Zion’s House of PraiseHoliness Church in Hilo.
