The decision in the case against Aaron M. Nakamoto was released Wednesday.

The Waikoloa man was found not guilty of attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Dec. 14 following an October jury trial.

The entire document by Judge Ronald Ibarra runs 30 pages. It includes the in-depth breakdown of the decisions made, his evaluations of witness testimony and other matters. Click here for the full document.

The charges filed against Nakamoto stemmed from an Oct. 12, 2014, confrontation in the parking lot between Waikoloa Village Market and Pueo’s Osteria restaurant at the Waikoloa Highlands Shopping Center. During the incident, police alleged Nakamoto stabbed two Waikoloa women, Hanna Luepkes and Carli Sugimoto.
