‘Island Naturals Cookbook’ author to share book, samples

Gina Franchini, author of “Island Naturals Cookbook,” will be at Kona Stories on Saturday to share her book, as well as samples.

“Island Naturals Cookbook,” which offers more than 100 recipes, including lasagna, carrot cake and everything in between, features Hawaiian specialties, Asian cuisine and Mexican favorites. There are dozens of recipes to satisfy every palate and food philosophy, including vegetarian and vegan options, raw foods, gluten-free cuisine and more.

Franchini, a longtime Big Island resident, will be at the Keauhou Shopping Center book store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
