The Keamuku Maneuver Area at Pohakuloa Training Area will be open for bird hunting Saturday and Sunday. The area will be open for shotgun hunting of birds only from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All hunters must check in and out at one of the new Army check-in stations located at the following locations:
— Old Saddle Road gate, across from the Mauna Kea State Park entrance,
— Mile marker 49.5 gate on Daniel K. Inouye Highway, approximately one-and-a-half miles from Mamalahoa Highway on the left, or
— Gate 10 near mile marker 53 on Old Saddle Road, one mile from Mamalahoa Highway.
Hunters must be out of all hunting areas by 6 p.m. each day. Use of shotgun slugs is not permitted.
Access to the training area is by foot only, hunters should park in designated parking areas.
