Police are investigating a theft over the weekend from agricultural land along the Hamakua Coast.

Police are investigating a theft over the weekend from agricultural land along the Hamakua Coast.

Sometime between 1:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Monday, $15,000 worth of tools and equipment, including two Honda generators, was stolen from land along Hawaii Belt Road at mile marker 38 in the Kalopa area.

Police ask anyone with information about this case or the location of the equipment to call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
