One man charged, another man sought in Waikoloa harassment case

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 37-year-old man wanted for questioning in connection within an ongoing investigation of an alleged repeated campaign of harassment in a Waikoloa Village neighborhood.

Matthew P. McGill is described as 6-foot-8, 285 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address was in Waikoloa.

As part of this ongoing investigation, 24-year-old Joshua Honcoop of Waikoloa Village was arrested Thursday and charged with harassment, harassment by stalking and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting $1,250 bail.

Police ask anyone with information about McGill’s whereabouts to call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
