Kamiko Kama

Kamiko “Kay” “Grandma K” Kama, 85, of Hilo died Nov. 30, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born July 13, 1930, in Hilo, she was a retired order clerk for Y. Hata and Co. and former sales clerk for the former S.H. Kress and Co.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. Dec. 15 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo, for a 6 p.m. service. A graveside committal service will be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 16 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by daughters, Joanne (Cory) Vierra and Bonnie Mahi, both of Hilo; brothers, George Uwaine of Los Angeles, Donald Uwaine of Kwajalein, Marshall Islands; sisters, Masako (James) Bailey of Waianae, Oahu, Jean Akimseu and Margie (Kazumi) Fukunaga, both of Hilo; five grandsons; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Aloha Ruddle

Aloha M. Ruddle, 87, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 2, 2015, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born June 6, 1928, in Hilo, she was a homemaker.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. Dec. 16 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 4 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 17 at Shorebreak Church in Hualalai Center, 75-170 Hualalai Road in Kailua-Kona, for a brief service. Scattering of her ashes will be held at a later date. Family requests casual attire be worn. In lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, donations may be made to Hospice of Kona, 75-5925 Walua Road Unit 101, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740.

She is survived by son, Reggie (Genie) Ruddle of Waikoloa; daughters, Leilani (Dennis) Nishiyama of Hilo, Eleanor (Daniel) Kunitake of Holualoa, Roberta (Isaac Tanaka) Jaques of Keauhou; hanai son, David Williams of Kailua-Kona; brother, Gilbert (Chieko) Spencer of Honolulu; sisters, Kuualoha Ching of Reno, Nev., Wanda (William) Tan of Los Angeles; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Allen Wilcox III

Allen Clesson Wilcox III, 68, of Waimea died Nov. 18, 2015, at his residence. Born July 8, 1947, in Glendale, Calif., he was a retired business owner, heavy equipment distributor and a Vietnam Army veteran.

He is survived by daughter, Kauikeolani (Anthony Johnson) Wilcox of Waimea; son, Christopher (Eliane) Wilcox of Waimea; brother, Steve (Mavourneen) Wilcox of Marina del Ray, Calif.; sister, Anne Wilcox of Olympia, Wash.; hanai daughters, Krysti (Scott) Kurashige of Captain Cook, Jennifer (Weston) Chai of Hilo; stepsons, Nathan (Jessica) Waldon of Tennessee, Elias Waldon of Kailua-Kona, Zachary (Camille) Waldon of Honolulu, Luke (Sandra) Waldon of Sweden; numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cecil “Becky” Rebecca Fitzgerald, 73, of Holualoa died Nov. 30, 2015, at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born May 3, 1942, in Delaware County, Okla., she was a country club secretary.

Private services will be held.

She is survived by daughter, Bonnie (Kala) Vesperas of Holualoa; son, Kevin (Michele) Sekela of Redding, Calif.; sister, Joy (Mike) Guentert of Roseville, Calif.; brother, Gabe Tucker of Vancouver, Wash.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous niece, nephews and cousins.

Donna Kawewehi

Donna M. Kawewehi, 63, of Spokane, Wash., died Nov. 19, 2015, in Spokane, Wash. She was born in Everett, Mass.

Private services were held in Kailua-Kona.

She is survived by husband, Jackson Kawewehi of Spokane, Wash.; sons, Ken DeMarzo, Michael Rivera; stepsons, Terrance Kawewehi of Spokane, Wash., Darren Kawewehi and Garrett Kawewehi, both of Honolulu.

Robert Geraghty Sr.

Robert Edward Geraghty Sr., 58, of Hilo died Dec. 1, 2015. He was born in New York.

Dorothy Leihulu Tailan, 84, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 20, 2015. Born June 10, 1931, in Kalaoa, she was an executive housekeeper in the resort industry.
