Tadafumi Adschiri, an international leader in the field of supercritical water technology and a member of the Science Council of Japan, will address the West Hawaii Tech Pau Hana presentation series.
The talk will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority Gateway Energy Center, 73-4485 Kahilihili St. The program is part of a monthly series for people interested in technology.
Adschiri’s research in the generation of nano-catalysts with supercritical water has significant impacts on the future of renewable energy, especially as it relates to biomass conversion.
The event includes a potluck. Attendees should bring a pupu and nonalcoholic beverages to share. Reusable plates and cups are encouraged. All are welcome.
