As the sun went down in Waimea, the town lit up with holiday cheer on Saturday night.
Horns could be heard from miles away as thousands of parade-goers took to the streets for the 55th annual Waimea Christmas Twilight Parade. The route started at historic Church Row on Mamalahoa Highway, turning on Lindsey Road and rolling past Parker School and Waimea Park.
The parade is the second oldest in Hawaii and the all-volunteer run event supported the Big Island Giving Tree.
