Two people were arrested after being found in a home during a possible domestic dispute.

South Hilo officers responded to a home on the 200 block of Iwalani Street after a call at 11 p.m. Monday.

The found two people in the 86-year-old woman’s home, including one who had a temporary restraining order against him.

Police arrested Davin Mizuno, 30, Hilo, and Ashley Szewerda, 21, Mountain View, at the scene and began an investigation.

They found that a koa jewelry box had been put in Szewerda’s bag. When they recovered it, police said they found 0.7 grams of heroin, three prescription pills, two marijuana pipes and other drug paraphernalia in Szewerda’s purse.

Szewerda was charged with criminal trespass, fourth-degree theft, third-degree promoting a dangerous drug, fourth-degree promoting a harmful drug, third-degree promoting a detrimental drug and possessing drug paraphernalia, according to court documents. Her bail was initially set at $9,000 and reduced to $6,500 during her arraignment on Thursday. She is to appear for her preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. Monday.

Mizuno is charged with criminal trespass, violating a court order and fourth-degree theft, according to court documents. His bond was set at $1,500. He is due in court at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 6.
