Hawaii Preparatory Academy’s Isaacs Art Center’s Heritage Art Show — A Century of Memories commemorates the 100th anniversary of the center’s historic schoolhouse gallery and painters of the time. The show, which is free and open to the public, runs through Dec. 19.
The exhibit showcases paintings by Jules Tavernier, Charles Furneaux, D. Howard Hitchcock, Theodore Wores, Alfred Gurrey Sr., Lloyd Sexton and Martha Greenwell. Iconic prints by Charles Bartlett and watercolors by Helen Kelley also are on display.
The Isaacs Art Center is located in Waimea, next to HPA’s Village Campus. The center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. All proceeds from the center benefit the HPA Scholarship Fund.
