Four vie for Hawaii County UH Regents seat

The Candidate Advisory Council for the University of Hawaii Board of Regents has presented a list of candidates to Gov. David Ige to fill a Hawaii County seat for five-year appointment, beginning July 1, 2016. The nomination is subject to confirmation by the state Senate.

The finalists for the Hawaii County seat currently filled by Wayne Higaki are William C. Bergin, Wayne S. Higaki, Sean A. Kirkpatrick and Melvyn K. Sakaguchi.
