Olelo Community Media will cablecast the state Public Utilities Commission’s planned 12-day evidentiary hearing on the potential Hawaiian Electric Co.-NextEra Energy merger live and in its entirety.
An estimated 84 full hours of live coverage will air on Channel 49 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, through Dec. 3; Dec. 7-11 and Dec. 14-16.
If the PUC hearing is extended beyond those dates, Olelo has committed to continuing live coverage on one of its four stations.
Olelo will also provide live streaming at www.youtube.com/olelocm and through its web site at www.olelo.org/olelo49.
Olelo airs programs of special community interest on its four cable channels: 49, 53, 54 and 55.
