Charlie Musselwhite and his band will perform Nov. 28 at Honokaa People’s Theatre amid a three-island tour in Hawaii.
Musselwhite has been inducted into the Blues Music Hall of Fame, received 35 Blues Music Awards, and 11 Grammy nominations, including a win in 2014. Musselwhite, an American electric blues harmonica player and bandleader, has played alongside Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Junior Wells, Sunny Boy Williamson, Little Walter and everyone on the south side of Chicago in the early 1960s.
The Nov. 28 show at Honokaa People’s Theatre gets underway at 7 p.m.; doors open at 6:30. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. Gold Circle seating is available for $60.
