Steven Olson
Steven Dale Olson, 62, of Kapaau died Nov. 6, 2015, at his home. Born March 8, 1953, in Clarion, Iowa, he was an electrician and instructor for Hawaii Community College in Hilo.
A celebration of life and potluck dinner will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 20 at Kapaa Park in North Kohala.
He is survived by wife, Juanita Rivera of Kapaau; son, Clifford (Guelynne) Olson of Waimea; mother, Doris Olson of Goldfield, Iowa; sisters, Carol Helmke of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Sheila (Bert) Merrell of St. Louis, Annette (Jeff) Rust of Littleton, Colo.; brother, David (Larayne) Olson of Sioux City, Iowa; two grandsons; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pule Taetuna Sr.
Pule Taetuna Sr., 79, of Milolii died Oct. 10, 2015, at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born May 26, 1936, in Amaluia, American Samoa, he was an apartment building maintenance man.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Nov. 21 at Hauoli Kamano Church in Milolii Village for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by sons, Pule (Hazel) Taetuna Jr. of Ocean View, Tui (Stephanie) Taetuga of Milolii, Mataiva (Rose) Taetuna of Honolulu; daughters, Emma Kahele of Ocean View, Simeamativa (Visefio) Tuuga of Washington, Pinky (Tala) Vole of Honolulu; brother, Gogo (Elizabeth) Taetuna of Milolii; sister, Sally Rista of Honolulu; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
