In the Eastern Pacific, which covers an area east of 140 degrees west longitude to North America and is where many of the storms that impact the Central Pacific basin form, no tropical cyclone formation is expected through early next week, National Hurricane Center forecasters said.

The Central Pacific and Eastern Pacific hurricane seasons continue through Nov. 30.
