No tropical cyclone formation expected through Friday morning

No tropical cyclones are expected to form within the Central Pacific, which is where Hawaii is located, through Friday afternoon, Central Pacific Hurricane Center forecasters said Wednesday.

In the Eastern Pacific, which covers an area east of 140 degrees west longitude to North America and is where many of the storms that impact the Central Pacific basin form, no tropical cyclone formation is expected through early next week, National Hurricane Center forecasters said.

The Central Pacific and Eastern Pacific hurricane seasons continue through Nov. 30.
