Frances Laninbit, 66, of Waimea and Majuro, Marshall Islands, died Oct. 19, 2015, at her residence. Born June 23, 1949, in Majuro, Marshall Island, she was an elementary school and Head Start Program principal in the Marshall Islands.
Friends may call at 2 p.m. Oct. 29 at Christ Church Episcopal in Kealakekua for an all-night vigil. Friends may again at 8 a.m. Oct. 30 for a service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by sons, Atlas (Nelia) Lodge of Ocean View, Kesler (Shina) Lodge of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Barbara (Jackson) Lobju of Waimea, Yolanda (Souvenir) Ned, Yoma (Paul Myazoe) Lodge and Bina (Mahlon Toren) Lodge, all of the Marshall Islands, Alodia (Kyle Matthew) Lodge of Waikoloa; half sister, Liene (Enoch) Rantak of Marshall Islands; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charlie Spruell
Charlie Henry Spruell, 87, of Kurtistown died Oct. 4, 2015, at his residence. Born April 15, 1928. in El Centro, Calif., he was a self-employed landscaper and member of the Puna Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by wife, Melodee Spruell of Kurtistown; sons, Simeon Spruell and Simon (Kristen Castillo) Spruell, both of Hawaiian Acres; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald Boyce
Donald Albert Boyce, 94, of Keaau died Oct. 20, 2015, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Bay City, Mich., he was a retired supervisor for the city of Saginaw, Mich., and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Services will take place at a later date in Saginaw, Mich.
He is survived by daughters, Tammy Williams of Vassar, Mich., Jan (Robert) Ray of Keaau; sons, James Boyce of Tecumseh, Mich., Robert Boyce of Fort Meyers, Fla.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Abraham Kalilikane
Abraham Huakau-mauma Kalilikane, 87, of Hilo died Oct. 16, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired boat operator on Kwajalein Island.

He is survived by wife, Seniko Kalilikane of Hilo; daughter, Akulani Kalilikane of Hilo; one granddaughter.

Susan Bolinger-Pierce
Susan Kay Bolinger-Pierce, 67, of Kurtistown died Oct. 22, 2015, at Pohai Malama. Born Oct. 4, 1948, in Gary, Ind., she was the proprietor of Hilo Holiday Pet Hotel and member of the El Dorado Polo Club.

She is survived by husband, Richard Pierce of Kurtistown; daughter, Kimberlee Kramarczyk of Agoura Hills, Calif.; son, Kary Bolinger of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; four grandchildren.
Isidro Dameg
Isidro Vergara Dameg, 95, of Pahala died Oct. 9, 2015, at Ka’u Hospital. Born March 23, 1920, in Santa, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a retired factory worker for Ka’u Agribusiness.

He is survived by daughter, Felicisima (Raymond) Kamei of Pahala; son, Orlando (Veronica) Dameg of Keaau; stepson, Edward (Maggie) Martinez of Pahala; stepdaughters, Dolores (Chucky) Oliveira of Hilo, Loretta Naboa of Milolii; sister; Fortonata Dameg; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.

Robert Giltner Sr.
Robert David Giltner Sr., 82, of Honokaa and formerly of Kohala died Sept. 30, 2015, at Hale Hoola Hamakua Care Facility. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired truck driver for Kahua Ranch.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. Oct. 31 at the Kahua Ranch Deck on Kohala Mountain Road for a 10 a.m. service. Lunch follows.
He is survived by son, Henry (Ann) Giltner of Waikoloa; daughters, Roberta (Alvin) Perez of Kohala, Victoria Cox and Jamie (Klem Kaniho) Giltner, both of Waimea, Tammy (Ted) White of Honokaa; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
