Police arrested a man Monday morning in Wailoa State Park after “numerous complaints of drug activity,” police said.
Edward John “Boyo” Salas, 37, of Hilo, was arrested at 8:50 a.m.
Police reported they arranged a purchase from Salas. He was then arrested and was found to have 0.4 grams of meth and 9 grams of marijuana.
Salas was charged with meth trafficking 2, promoting a detrimental drug 3, promoting a dangerous drug 3 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
