Police were ready to announce three new “Most Wanted,” and then one was captured.
Police had been looking for Alihilani Joshua Stringert, 27, of Kealakekua, who was wanted for robbery. He was arrested and charged with unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, two counts of robbery and one count of theft.
One man, Logan Kahele Bishop, 25, of Naalehu, is wanted on a bench warrant for violating probation and for questioning in connection with a robbery in Ocean View on June 9. He is described as 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
The third man is Jacob Kawaa Freebairn, 37, Waimea, who is wanted on six bench warrants for contempt of court. He is described as 5-foot-5, 150 pounds with blue eyes and short graying light brown hair.

All three will be featured in the latest “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted,” project of Crime Stoppers Hilo Inc., which is a partnership of the business community, the media and the police. It was inspired by the national TV show, “America’s Most Wanted.” The program airs on Na Leo O Hawaii Community Television Channel 54 on Sundays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 5.
