Prince Dance, a local nonprofit dance company, will hold a fundraising dance party “Carnival of Exotic Mayhem!” Saturday at the Honokaa People’s Theatre.

The carnival-themed event gets underway at 7 p.m. and will feature fire dancers, magicians, dance performances and costumes, while DJ Danny Waddell will be spinning the best in dance music throughout the evening. There will be a no-host bar, and the kitchen will be open and serving grinds throughout the event.

Prince Dance was formed in 2006, and has since created six full-length, multi-media dance performances. This event is raising money to take the latest show “Que Suenes Con Las Angelitas” on a national tour. “Que Suenes” features Hawaiian and Argentine dancers and performers as they share their tale of heartbreak and triumph over life’s obstacles. “Que Suenes” premiered last year at the Kahilu Theatre to rave reviews.

Costumes are encouraged. All ages are welcome. Tickets are $25 pre-sale, $30 at the door, and can be purchased online at www.princedance.org.
