The second annual Historic Kailua Village Luau will be held Oct. 3 on the makai lawn at Kona Inn.

The second annual Historic Kailua Village Luau will be held Oct. 3 on the makai lawn at Kona Inn.

The buffet menu features traditional Hawaiian luau fare with entertainment by Kumu Keala Ching and Ka Pa Hula Na Wai Iwi Ola along with Kealaleo.

“Last year’s luau was a big hit with local residents and visitors alike,” said KVBID President Riley Smith. “Our aim is to keep the price within reach and to celebrate a special evening by the sea. Too often we become wrapped up in daily responsibilities and we don’t take the time to enjoy where we live. Our Historic Kailua Village Luau gives people an opportunity to hit the pause button and have a good time.”

Individual tickets are $45; reserved tables of 10 offered at $400. All tickets can be purchased online at www.HistoricKailuaVillage.com.

The luau is sponsored by the Kailua Village Business Improvement District, Hawaii Tourism Authority, and the County of Hawaii. Contact HKVevents@gmail.com at least five days in advance to request an auxiliary aid or reasonable modification.
