ArtWavEs Nourish the Children will offer students of all ages the opportunity to learn about creativity, nature arts, blessing flags, plant-based nutrition and silk banner painting in Kona.
The Autumn Eco-Arts Experience provides an exciting opportunity to explore nature, nutrition, expression and visual arts while acquiring skills that will last a lifetime. In small group classes in movement, song, painting, nutrition and nature discovery, kids will be guided by professional educators, artists and special guests. Fresh lunches and two snacks will be provided. The program runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 5 to 9 at Kealakehe Elemetnary School.
Students will offer a showcase for parents and friends at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 9. The event is free, and open to the public.
