Hawaii Fire Department rescue personnel searched a fourth day Friday for a 62-year-old woman who went missing while swimming Monday at Boiling Pots in the Wailuku River above Hilo.

Hawaii Fire Department rescue personnel searched a fourth day Friday for a 62-year-old woman who went missing while swimming Monday at Boiling Pots in the Wailuku River above Hilo.

Battalion Chief Jerry Lum said at about 4:30 p.m. the search crew had not recovered the body of the woman, who was apparently pulled down by a strong current after heavy weekend rains. A male companion was able to make it to the river bank.

Lum said the recovery operation will go on for one more day on Saturday.

Jolee Reiswig was last seen Monday evening swimming with the man in the upper pond at Boiling Pots. The two began to be pulled downstream by a fast current, and only the man made it to the river bank safely.
