HONOLULU (AP) — A 19-year-old man arrested on an out-of-state warrant has agreed to return to Tennessee.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports (https://bit.ly/1NKeXAM ) Brandon Horton, whose father is a U.S. Army sergeant assigned to Hawaii, appeared in state court Monday where he waived his right to challenge extradition. He was arrested Thursday at a home on the Aliamanu Military Reservation where he had been living with his father and stepmother.
Horton is wanted in Tennessee in connection to the March 30 shooting death of 19-year-old Craig Lambert.
Horton’s attorney said her client knew about the charges against him and had been planning his return to Tennessee when he was arrested.
A grand jury has returned an indictment against Horton which remains sealed until he gets to Nashville.
