HONOLULU (AP) — A high school student has been arrested for terroristic threatening after he verbally threatened another juvenile.

KITV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1K9Rd6O ) that police got involved after a Twitter post Tuesday night suggested another student was planning to bring a gun to Campbell High School. Later, the student tweeted that he had spoken to school administration about the message and police.

Campbell Principal Jon Lee says he is grateful the student was cooperative and contacted authorities. At the same time, he reminded students to post on social media responsibly.

Honolulu Police Department officers were on campus Thursday as a precaution, but no incidents were reported.
