Multiple items were stolen from a home on the 75-5900 block of Alii Drive on July 17. Taken were a total of $2,400 of items.
A church kitchen area and window were damaged after someone broke in on July 13. The church, located in the 76-5900 block of Mamalahoa Highway, had a downstairs window broken in, allowing the suspect or suspects to get into the kitchen area. The person that reported the crime said that it appears they ate food and threw some on the walls. Window repairs are estimated at $400 and the food loss was listed as $75.
A man reported that medications, cash and a tablet were stolen from his home on Hina Lani Street on July 12. The man said he found that his door had a hairline crack and the screen to his second story window was slightly out. He said 60 tablets of morphine, 150 tabs of oxycodone, $550 in cash and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet were missing.
A man reported that his ex-girlfriend broke into his home on the 73-5700 block of Makahi Street on July 11. She sent him a photo by text message showing his current girlfriend’s journal, which was kept in the mauka bedroom. The man’s aunt went to the home and found his Macintosh computer was stolen.
Stolen vehicle
Suspected burglars drove off with a white Toyota Tundra pickup on July 16 in 75-0200 block of Oni Oni St. The victim said it seemed like they took his son’s key ring, which he had left at home before leaving for work. The Tundra reportedly has damage to the rear left and right fender areas.
A man’s 15-year-old granddaughter took his blue 2010 Mazda 3 and drove off on July 17 from his home on the 75-5600 block of Hienaloli Road. He said he was working in the yard and she took the keys from his room. The plate is HJF988
A moped was stolen from in front of the Tidye Hobo business on the 82-6100 block of Hawaii Belt Road in the early morning hours of July 14. The registration number is H-34902.
Unlawful entry to a motor vehicle
A woman reported that someone stole 20 rent checks made out to her out of her car on July 15 from an unlocked garage on the 75-6000 block of Kuakini Highway.
A woman reported that electronics were stolen from her car between 1 and 1:15 p.m. July 15 while it was in the 75-0100 block of Sarona Road. Taken were an orange iPhone 5c and black Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Her Discover card was also in the case.
Someone stole four tire rims and an electronic device from a car with a plate of WTONRC between 4:30 p.m. June 16 and 9:30 p.m. June 17. The vehicle was parked in the 75-5800 Alii Drive. Total value of the stolen items was listed as about $4,100.
