Saturday event would draw people to Honokaa

Saturday event would draw people to Honokaa

I thought I’d speak up and say 3rd Saturdays in Honokaa would be conducive for the businesses there and society as a whole. A high percentage of people on the Big Island as well as the state of Hawaii have Saturdays off from work and would be more likely to attend such an event. After all, car wash fundraisers aren’t done on Friday nights, but, more likely on the weekend. What I am saying is that more people from more diverse areas would visit Honokaa, which would again be conducive for the businesses and the society of Honokaa.

3rd Saturdays would be a draw for people from the Hilo and Kona districts as well as the rest of the Big Island. Honokaa is home of the majestic Waipio Valley as well as its beautiful historic town. Rodeos as well as classic car displays could be held in conjunction with 3rd Saturdays.

All in all, 3rd Saturdays would be a win-win scenario for Honokaa and its society. Honokaa can definitely use a boost in foot traffic and its businesses would see an increase in revenues. With newly built Saddle Road, Honokaa definitely needs an additional attraction which can draw people to its area and 3rd Saturdays would be a great reality.
