Words and Wine scheduled Tuesday
Authors Ray Pace, Gill McBarnet, Tricia Coughey and Austin Aslan will be featured during Kona Stories Book Shop’s Words and Wine event at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Keauhou Shopping Center.
Pace’s “Hemingway Memories of Les” is a story of Leicester Hemingway, who was usually overshadowed by his famous brother, Ernest Hemingway.
McBarnet is one of Hawaii’s top children’s book authors, including the bestselling Hawaiian children’s book, “The Goodnight Gecko.”
Caughey’s book “ONLY Believe, and live from the Heart” is a story of a life inspired by her youngest son’s determination, courage and tenacity to live beyond the limits of a rare and life threatening heart condition.
Aslan was inspired to write his debut novel, “The Islands at the End of the World,” while living on Hawaii Island. He continues to write fiction and looks forward to the publication of this novel’s sequel, “The Girl at the Center of the World,” a fast-paced survival story set in Hawaii.
This event starts at 6 p.m. with an informal meet and greet merging into a more formal book presentation from each author and concluding around 8 p.m.
