Bring back coral graffiti now

Bring back coral graffiti now

Whoever’s idea it was to take away a Hawaiian tradition of coral graffiti that so many of us have loved for years should be real proud of themselves because now it’s being replaced by spray paint graffiti.

We took our daughter up to Mauna Kea Beach while she’s here visiting us and the lava is filled with all kinds of spray painted graffiti on both sides of the road, some of it sprayed over with brown paint, some black and a lot not even covered. Who does these horrible acts, maybe — someone mad at the liberals changing how things are on our beloved island? Should we protest defacing our sacred land or better yet, try to catch these creeps destroying the beauty here and tar and feather them?

Why can’t people leave traditions alone? Go back to the mainland and live and stop changing things here.
