Barbara Clay
Barbara Jean Clay, 87, of Kailua-Kona died June 7, 2015. Born Dec. 6, 1926, in Nebraska, she was a professional watercolor artist and attended the Unity Church, leading the spiritual group Course of Miracles.

She is survived by sons, Douglas Gregory of Kalapana, Stuart Gregory of Mountain View, Jeffrey (Christine) Gregory of Stuart, Fla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Douglas DeLong
Douglas Alan DeLong, 55, died May 28, 2015. He was a Freemason and served Redwood City Lodge 168 F&AM in Redwood City, Calif., as its master in 1988.
An informal, stop by anytime, “Happy Celebration of Life for Doug” will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. June 20 at the Harbor House at Honokohau Harbor. Pupu will be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Hawaii Island Humane Society.
He is survived by wife, Vannessa DeLong; father, Fredric DeLong, mother, Bea–B.C. DeLong; numerous aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Derwin Edayan Sr.
Derwin “Dino” Miles Edayan Sr., 59, of Ocean View died May 25, 2015, at his residence. Born Dec. 20, 1955, in Wahiawa, Oahu, he was a heavy equipment operator for E.M. Rivera, self-employed landscaper, worked for Naalehu Hawaii Land Care, a driver for Kalakaua Tours, maintenance man for Kona Seaside Hotel and Kealakehe Intermediate School and member of Thy Word Ministry Ka‘u and an Army veteran.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. June 20 at Thy Word Ministry Ka‘u Church (Naalehu Hongwanji Mission) for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

Wesley Kealiikame-hameha Neula, 48, of Kapaau died June 4, 2015, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born June 11, 1966, in Kohala, he was a bus assistant for Akita Bus Service, stocker for Kaneshiro Store and a maintenance man for Brantley Center.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. June 20 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

Elmer Shoji Ota, 66, of Waimea died June 9, 2015, at his home. Born July 13, 1948, in Honokaa, he was retired from Hawaii Electric Light Co. and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission, Kamuela American Japanese Civic Association and Kamuela Hongwanji Golf Club.
