Auntie’s Angels monthly Soup Kitchen n Pantry will be held Saturday on site at the low-income Hualalai Elderly Housing in Kailua-Kona. This is the start of its summer program, “Got Fruit — Like Share” campaign.
Along with fresh fruit, vegetables, paper products and personal hygiene products are also requested.

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce presents a business-related workshop open to the public from 9 to 11 a.m. June 25 at Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union’s Kaloko branch.
Presenters Porter and Monika DeVries of DeVries &Associates, P.C., will share “The Seven Ways Businesses Profit from Having General Counsel.” The firm practices preventive law and endeavors to protect clients from legal liabilities by emphasizing proactive risk management and diligent attention to detail.
The two-hour workshop covers business basics including how to protect assets and seize new opportunities for eliminating unnecessary liabilities and risks. The session includes a question-and-answer session. Networking will follow if time permits. Handouts and complimentary refreshments are provided.
