Barry Royce Job, 21, of Keaau died May 20, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. He was born on Oct. 16, 1993, in Honolulu.

Amy Mitsue Sasaki, 97, of Hilo died May 17, 2015, at Oahu Care Facility in Honolulu. Born July 17, 1917, in Hilo, she was a retired activities aide from Life Care Center of Hilo, proprietress of the former Amy’s Florist and member of Hilo Seventh-day Adventist Church and Waiakea Homestead Chuo Kumiai.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. June 8 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 6 p.m. service. A graveside committal service and burial will be at 9 a.m. June 9 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 1. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by daughter, Faith Nance of Hilo; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rita Perreira Rodrigues, 87, of Paauilo died May 11, 2015, at her residence. Born Nov. 3, 1927, in Hilo, she worked for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Margaret “Margie” Mercado, 74, of Hilo died May 29, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 5, 1940, in Pahala, she was a retired janitor for C.W. Maintenance, former bartendress for City Tavern and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Remedios Dalmacio Orallo, 73, of Laupahoehoe died May 28, 2015, at home. Born in Linoc, Binmaley, Pangasinan, Philippines, she was a retired housekeeper with the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, a former factory worker for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Laupahoehoe.

Born March 3, 1986, in Kealakekua, she was a swimming pool technician for Peaches &Apples Pool, a salesperson at the Pearl Factory and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Kai O Pua Canoe Club.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. June 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kailua-Kona for an 11 a.m. service. Burial follows at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

Carlin Robinson
Carlin “Robbie” Geer Robinson, 89, of Pahoa died April 24, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Oct. 9, 1925, in Los Angeles, he was a World War II veteran, a Shriner and board member at Hawaiian Shores Recreational Community.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. June 14 at Hawaiian Shores Community Park in the Hawaii pavilion, 15-2793 Honu St. in Pahoa for a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for children.
He is survived by daughter, Pamela Stone of Pahoa; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Ruth Alo
Ruth Chiyono (Higa) Alo, 92, of Kapaau and formerly of Hilo and Oahu, died May 9, 2015, at Kaiser-Moanalua on Oahu. Born at 9-1/2 mile camp, Olaa, she was a former waitress at Elliott’s Chuckwagon, kitchen help at Masa’s Cafeteria and member of Kohala Okinawan Kenjin Kai and Aunty Sally’s Senior Center.
Services are pending.
She is survived by son, Melvin (Belinda Borges) Alo of Hilo; daughters, Jerry Horner of Mililani, Oahu, Bea (Rod) Feliciano of Kapaau; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

moses
moses, 83, of Waimea died May 27, 2015, in Honokaa. Born Murray Robert Odessky on Oct. 16, 1931, in the Bronx. N.Y., he changed his name to “moses” in 1976. He was a package designer in New York and Los Angeles, an artist in residence at Yosemite National Park and created 255 paper bag hat sculptures,which he donated to the Mingei Museum in San Diego.
Family plans to have a celebration of his life at a later date.
He is survived by daughter, Kira Od of California; daughter, Jana Odette of Massachusetts; brother, Sol Odette of Florida; one grandchild; five nieces and nephews.

Carl Milldrum III
Carl “Carlos” Harry Milldrum III, 53, of Hilo and formerly of Waimea died May 26, 2015, at his residence. Born March 4, 1962, in Honolulu, he was an officer for the Hawaii County Police Department.
