Honolulu television station KHON (https://bit.ly/1doQn8X) reports a vehicle with mechanical problems just before 1 a.m. stopped on the H-1 Freeway near the Waiawa Road overpass.
A second vehicle stopped to help the driver. The motorcycle crashed into the second vehicle.
Police say the driver was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
The fatality is Oahu’s 24th in 2015.
