Kona Pacific Public Charter School is participating in the Summer Food Service Program, with the assistance of six community partners who have stepped up to help fight childhood hunger over the summer, when schools and school lunch programs are closed.
Kona Pacific Public Charter School is participating in the Summer Food Service Program, with the assistance of six community partners who have stepped up to help fight childhood hunger over the summer, when schools and school lunch programs are closed.
Meals will be provided to all children under age 18 without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Meals will be provided at the sites from June 8 to July 28 as follows:
Old Airport State Park, 10:15 – 10:45 a.m., Monday through Friday
Lailani Apartments, 11:15 – 11:45 a.m., Monday through Friday
Lokahi Ka‘u Apartments, 12:15 – 12:45 p.m., Monday through Friday
Keauhou Canoe Club, 1:30 – 2 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
Keoua Honaunau Canoe Club, 2:30-3 p.m,. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Meals will be provided at the following site from June 8 – 12:
Kona Scenic Park, noon to 12:30, Monday through Friday.

Pualani Estates Park, noon to 12:30, Monday through Friday
Summer Food Service partners include the management of Lailani and Lokahi Ka‘u affordable apartments in Kailua-Kona, Family Support Services West Hawaii, the youth program managers of Keauhou and Keoua Honaunau canoe clubs, and the Happy Feet Soccer program.
