A magnitude-3.2 earthquake was recorded Friday morning near the summit of Kilauea Volcano, the U.S. Geological Survey reports.
The earthquake, which had a registered depth of 2.8 miles, struck at 8:37 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was centered about 1.6 miles south-southwest of the summit of Kilauea Volcano.
At 10:52 a.m., a magnitude-3.0 earthquake was recorded 2.3 miles south-southwest of the summit. It had a depth of 1.7 miles.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue an advisory following either temblor.
