HONOLULU — A crew was forced to evacuate a French cable ship after it caught fire in Honolulu Harbor.

KHON-TV reports that firefighters are investigating the source of the blaze that started Monday night.

They were called the vessel around 7:45 that evening and were able to extinguish the flames by 10.

Officials believe the fire started in the generator room.
