The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted” highlights two men wanted on bench warrants and for questioning in other investigations.
The new episode airs Friday.
During the episode, police are asking for help in locating Collins Hopeau, 23, who is wanted on a no-bail bench warrant for violating probation. He is also wanted for questioning in a burglary investigation. He is described as 5-foot, 9-inches and 190 pounds with brown hair and black eyes. His last known address was in Pahoa.
The television program is also asking for help in locating Peter Everett Fuerte, 47, who is wanted on two $10,000 bench warrants for contempt of court. He is also wanted for questioning in an investigation of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle. He is described as 5-foot, 8-inches and 200 pounds and bald with a beard and numerous tattoos on his arms and body. He may be in Ka‘u.
In this latest edition of “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted,” which was pre-recorded, Officer Bryan Tina also asks for help in locating Catherine Surtees, 59, of Kailua-Kona. She was located April 29 and arrested and charged with abuse of a family or household member.

“Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted” is a project of Crime Stoppers Hilo Inc., which is a partnership of the business community, the media and the police. It was inspired by the national TV show, “America’s Most Wanted.” The program airs on Na Leo O Hawaii Community Television Channel 54 on Sundays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.
