HONOLULU — The woman who died Friday in a fall on a popular Oahu trail has been identified as a 27-year-old supervisor at the Keeaumoku Street Walmart.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports Darlene Feliciano died in the fall from Makapuu Tom-Tom Trail.

Feliciano had been hiking with a 29-year-old man. Her body was found 500 feet below The Puka, a popular spot for photos because of a hole in the rocks.

Firefighters found Feliciano unconscious and not breathing.

Walmart pharmacy employee Chad Galario says employees learned about Feliciano’s death Friday and there were “a lot of tears and a lot of silence.”
