Janet Tebo
Janet Myrtle Tebo, 91, of Keaau died April 8, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Gillette, Wis., she as a retired Registered Nurse, a retired Red Cross volunteer, member of Christ Lutheran Church of Hilo, Paradise Park Hula Girls, the quilting club and the Paradise Park Senior Center.
Private services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by son, John (Therese) Hostvedt of Whidbey Island, Wash.; daughters, Jill (Greg) Persick of Oconomowoc, Wis., Jane (Greg) Jones of Auburn, Wash.; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul Howard
Paul John Howard, 91, of Hawaii died March 31, 2015, in Hilo. Born Feb. 20, 1924, in Los Angeles, he was a World War II Army Air Corps. veteran, worked for Proctor and Gamble and concluded his business career as a vice president at Hunt Foods in Fullerton, Calif.
No services are planned.
He is survived by daughters, Heloise (Chris) Lochman of Kailua-Kona, June (James Dean) Howard of Ann Arbor, Mich., Helen (Guy) Neithardt of Leysin, Switzerland, Louise (Martin Olson) Howard of Oakland, Calif.; five grandchildren.

Toshio Yamashiro
Toshio “Chaney” Yamashiro, 93, of Hilo died March 30, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 22, 1921, in Hakalau, he worked as an inspector for Puna Sugar Co. and retired as a plumbing inspector for the Hawaii County Department of Public Works, was a member of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission and Kyodan, the Garden Club, University Heights Kumiai, Hui Okinawa and was a former member of the Hawaii Army National Guard.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. April 19 at Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission, 216 Mohouli St., for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by daughters, Velma (Steve) Menezes, Jo Ann (Douglas) Agasa, Merle (David) Yee, all of Hilo, Carla Yamashiro, of Seattle; sister, Ayako You of Hilo; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet Maria Rose, 79, of Kailua-Kona died April 4, 2015, at Hospice’s Nakamaru Hale. Born March 26, 1936, in Manhattan, N.Y., she was a sales clerk at W.H. Smith at Hilton Waikoloa Village.

She is survived by sons, Darrel (Wynne) Medeiros of Sydney, Australia, Duane Medeiros of Oahu, Marcus (Leslie) Medeiros of California; daughters, Yvette Colby, Yvonne Medeiros, both of California, Christina (Roy) Belanio of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Yvonne (Javier) Marcilla of Albuquerque, N.M., Yolanda (Leo) Carter of Oklahoma, Mei Ling Lipka of Florida; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Audrey Perreira
Audrey Kuulei Perreira, 85, of Hilo died April 6, 2015, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born on July 25, 1929, in Kalihi, Oahu, she was formally was employed by HSMA and The Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu.
Private services were held.
She is survived by son, William (Avis) Perreira of Hilo; daughters, Peach Guilment of Salem, Mass., Lee Anne Perreira of Honolulu, Christine (Kaipo) Perreira of Hilo; 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
