Robert Kimura
Robert “Robbie” Dean Kimura, 43, of Hilo died March 21, 2015, at The Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Hilo, he attended the Bayada Habilitation Recreational Club and its Potluck Club and formerly the Arc of Hilo.
Friends may call at 3 p.m. April 16 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 4 p.m. celebration of his life. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers or monetary gifts.
He is survived by parents, Ron and Amy Kimura of Hilo; sisters, Carolyn (Jay) Uyeda of Kailua-Kona, Sandy (Flavio) Nucci of Hilo; paternal grandmother, Masako Kimura of Oahu; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Norman Aludino
Norman Arsina Aludino, 51, of Hawi died March 28, 2015, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Dec. 8, 1963, in Kapaau, he was an engineer at the Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii, member of the National Hot Rod Association and co-owner of Sonny’s Place Restaurant in Hawi.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. April 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial will follow at Hawi County Cemetery, then a luncheon is planned at St. Damien Hall. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Millicent Aludino of Hawi; sons, Desi Saragosa, Aaron (Michelle Lazo) Saragosa, both of Hawi; daughters, Charmaine (Dean Halemanu) Saragosa, Erika (Crystal Nunley) Saragosa, both of Hawi, Carla (Donnavan Crawford) Saragosa of Oahu; brothers, Wade (Myra) Aludino of Waimea, Eric (Frecia) Aludino of Hawi; sisters, Mary (Brian) Botelho of Hilo, Vivian (Paul) Fisher of Virginia, Grace (Bob) Miller of California; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one aunt; one uncle; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Edward Yoshio Toyomura, 75, of Hilo died March 15, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was an Air Force veteran, maintenance supervisor at the Hawaii Naniloa Hotel and employee of Cunningham Gallery.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 18 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Cremation follows. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Carol Toyomura of Hilo; son, Errick Toyomura of Hilo; daughters, Tammy (Juan Jr.) Martines of Keaau, Terry Toyomura of Hilo; brothers, Herbert (Debra) Toyomura of Kona, Glen (Kathleen) Hamamoto of Hilo; sister, Betty Tanaka of Papaikou; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

James Sherman
James “Jim” Howard Sherman, 98, of Ocean View died April 7, 2015, at his residence. Born Dec. 11, 1916, in Emmett, Idaho, he was a retired business owner, member of Mensa, 32nd Degree Mason and lifetime member of Coos Bay Lions Club.
No services are planned.
He is survived by sons, Alan (Linda) Sherman of Beaverton, Ore., Duane (Billie) Sherman of Ocean View, Terry Sherman of Milwaukie, Ore.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Howard Shindo
Howard Rikio Shindo, 65, of Hilo died March 30, 2015, at his residence. Born in Hilo, he was the owner of Howard’s Auto AC.
Private services were held. Family requests no flowers or monetary gifts.
He is survived by mother, Tamae Shindo of Hilo; brother, Calvin (Karen) Shindo of Hilo; sister, Sandra De Leon of Hilo; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
