Carol Moreno
Carol Lee Moreno, 55, of Ocean View died Feb. 27, 2015, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 12, 1959, in California, she was a homemaker.
Friends may call at noon April 18 at Manuka State Wayside Park for a service and potluck. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
She is survived by daughters, Sara (George) Wallace of Ocean View, Cindy Moreno of Port Orchard, Wash.; brother, Steven Petersen of San Bernardino, Calif.; sisters, Sharon Murawski, Debbie Gieseman, both of San Bernardino, Calif.; one grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michael Sacay
Michael Sacay, 57, of Honalo died March 16, 2015, at his residence. Born June 20, 1957, in Kealakekua, he was a carpenter, worked as a plumber, electrician, mason and a coffee picker and was a member of the Kona Elks Pool Tournament and Kona Bowling League.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. April 18 at the Hisashi Kimura Cultural Hall at Daifukuji Soto Mission in Honalo for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Vivian Sacay of Honalo; son, Steven Sacay of Honaunau; daughter, Shannon (Shannon) Hao of Kealia; brothers, Anthony Sacay of Lahaina, Maui, Richard (Anna) Sacay of Lai O Pua; sisters, Debbie Rafael of Honolulu, Gwen (Tony) Brigoli, Mila (Rick) Brown, both of Captain Cook, Veronica Brumaghim of Kealakekua, Anna (Marty) Saxton of Keauhou Mauka, Felicia (Bryan) Butler of Seattle; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two aunts; one uncle; numerous niece, nephews, and cousins.

Tyler Lahnum
Tyler “T-Bone” Lee Lahnum, 53, of Waikoloa died Feb. 15, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Nov. 2, 1961, in Anchorage, Alaska, he was a finish carpenter contractor and member of St. James Episcopal Church and the Alaskan Bowling League.
Services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by wife, Demaris Lahnum of Alaska; daughters, Cheyanna Lahnum of Honolulu, Cherrell Lahnum of Los Angeles; mother, Dawn Lahnum of Waikoloa; brother, Nathan Lahnum of Waikoloa; one nephew.

Hideo Maruyama
Hideo Maruyama, 85, of Captain Cook died March 21, 2015, at his residence. Born May 3, 1929, in Captain Cook, he was a self-employed coffee and macadamia nut farmer, a carpenter, member of Daifukuji Soto Mission, and an Army veteran.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
He is survived by wife, Gail Maruyama of Captain Cook; daughters, Glenda (Rick) Okamura of San Francisco, Deanna (Delmond) Won of Stafford, Va., Lila (Mark) Hayes of Honolulu; son, Clyan Maruyama of Lihue, Kauai; brother, Teruo (May) Maruyama of Honolulu; sister, Carol Hanaoka of Honolulu; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert Bailey
Robert Eugene Bailey, 91, of Kailua-Kona died April 2, 2015, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born July 10, 1923, in Kansas City, Kan., he was an employee of the Civil Aeronautics Administration/Federal Aviation Administration, including service as the assistant manager of Wake Island and chief of the Keahole air traffic control tower. He was also member of Waikoloa Golf Club, Kona Bridge Club and a World War II veteran.
Private services will be held in June. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society of Hawaii or Hospice of Kona.
He is survived by sons, Russell (Anne) Bailey of Alexandria, Va.; Matthew (Nancy) Bailey of Brush Prairie, Wash.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons.

Allan Ness
Allan Louis Ness, 70, of Waikoloa died March 24, 2015, at his residence. Born in Minnesota, he was a retired FBI agent .

He is survived by wife, Jeanette Ness of Waikoloa; daughters, Kathleen (Troy) Jensen of Wisconsin, Ann (Jame) Camarillo and Kristina (Bradley) Contardi, both of Minnesota; sisters, Julie Siefert and Barbara Wicks, both of Minnesota; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
