Hawaii Island police need help identifying a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a March 16 theft in Hilo.

The woman, shown in the picture, is seen with sunglasses on her head as she exited a Hilo business establishment where items were taken from a Hilo woman’s purse, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Anyone with information should call Officer Jacob Obermiller at 961-2213 or 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
