Van Uemura
Van Masato Uemura, 60, of Hilo died March 25, 2015, at his residence. Born July 11, 1954, in Kealakekua, he was employed by S. Tokunaga Store in Hilo and member of the Big Island Archery Club.
Friends may call at 2:30 p.m. April 3 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Jacquelyn Uemura of Hilo; son, Van (Lehua Nalimu) Uemura Jr. of Hilo; daughter, Sharay Uemura of Hilo; sisters, Sylvia (Kevin) Handy of Waimea, Myra Bailey of Kealakekua; five grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, niece and cousins.

Lisbeth Lundstrom
Lisbeth Amanda Lundstrom, 94, of Kailua-Kona, died Feb. 20, 2015, at her residence. Born Dec. 18, 1920, in Stockholm, she was a retired teacher.

She is survived by sons, Lennart (Monique) Lundstrom of Puna, Eric (Margo) Lundstrom of Kailua-Kona, John Lundstrom of Bakerfield, Calif.; brother, Joe (Louise) Josephson of Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

William Ross
William “Bill” David Ross, 59, of Keauhou Mauka died March 6, 2015, at his residence. Born April 26, 1955, in Longview, Wash., he was a charter boat captain.

He is survived by son, William Ross II of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; parents, Jack and Helen Ross of Keauhou Mauka; sisters, Janet (Keith) Klippstein of Portland, Ore., Nancy (Eddie) Sakamoto of Keauhou Mauka, Leanne (Tyson) Wood of Medford, Ore., Betsy Roslyn of Portland, Ore,; one grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jodie Wray Thompson Doronio, 58, of Kurtistown died March 7, 2015, at home. Born in Vallejo, Calif., she was an account clerk at Mountain View Elementary School.

Randall “Dr. Randy” Joseph Ressler, 57, of Kailua-Kona died March 14, 2015, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 9, 1957, in Dubuque, Iowa, he was a dentist with Hawaii Biological Dentistry, a guitarist, singer and member of the Aloha Performing Arts Center.

Suzuko Tamashiro, 77, of Kailua-Kona died March 16, 2015, at her home. Born in Kapoho, she was co-owner of the former Tamashiro Trucking Inc. and member of Kailua Shita Kumiai and Kona Okinawa Kenjin Kai.

She is survived husband, George Tamashiro of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Bushe of Hilo; brother, Yutaka (Kay) Shimasaki of Keaau; sister, Ethel Awa of Honolulu; two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Fernando Dilejero Derla, 85, of Kapaau died Feb. 24, 2015. Born in the Philippines, he retired as an administrative officer for Davao Prison and Penal Farm.
