The Disabled American Veterans Kona Chapter 7 is selling tickets this weekend for a steak plate fundraiser to support the group’s programs and services.
On Saturday, DAV members will be stationed at KTA Superstores in Kailua-Kona until 3 p.m. selling steak plates. The $15 steak plates include two New York steaks and will be available for pickup on April 12 at the Old Kona Airport Makaeo Events Pavilion.
On Sunday, the members will set up outside the Kona Walmart, off of Henry Street. Tickets will be sold between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
