Big Island police are asking for the public’s help locating a 17-year-old Hilo girl who has been missing for more than a month.

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help locating a 17-year-old Hilo girl who has been missing for more than a month.

Makaala Pea was last seen in Hilo on Feb. 15, according to the Hawaii Police Department. She is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
