Oahu-based service members will convoy from Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae Harbor starting Monday.
Convoys will take place between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, according to the U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii. They will use the Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu Highway and the Akoni Pule Corridor.
Military police will support the convoys. The PTA Department of Army police is working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training and readiness. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care.
