HONOLULU — Gabe Vincent scored a season-high 25 points and Michael Bryson added 22 to help UC Santa Barbara beat Hawaii 98-90 on Wednesday night.
It was the most points Hawaii has allowed all season.
UC Santa Barbara (17-12, 10-5 Big West) has won four straight and seven of its last eight to hold onto third place behind UC Irvine (17-11, 10-4) and UC Davis (22-5, 12-2).
Alan Williams had 13 points with 10 rebounds for UCSB. Bryson and Vincent had 14 points apiece in the first half as the Gauchos held a 49-39 lead.
Roderick Bobbitt scored a career-high 26 points and Stefan Jankovic had 20 for Hawaii (19-12, 7-8). The Warriors got within eight points with a minute left, but UCSB went 10 of 12 from the line to seal it.
UCSB closes out its regular season against Cal Poly on Saturday while Hawaii faces Cal State Fullerton.
