More than 60 athletes will compete in cycling, seated volleyball, swimming, track and field and wheelchair basketball.
The top 40 athletes will be awarded a spot on Team Navy, which will advance to a competition among all military branches.
The competition will be held at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and at other spots around the island over four days starting next Tuesday.
Navy Region Hawaii plans to host a symposium where local wounded warriors and their caregivers will discuss their experiences.
